IPhone 2018 launch: what to expect from Apple

Leaked Apple iPhone XS Looks Gorgeous in the Gold Shade

Interestingly, for the 6.1-inch LCD iPhone, Bloomberg claims Apple is mulling calling it the "iPhone Xr" which again contradicts a previous report which suggested the device will be called "iPhone Xc" or 'iPhone 9'.

Apple is set to follow up its 10th anniversary iPhone X with a bunch of variants at its keynote event tomorrow.

According to 9to5Mac, GBH Insights analyst Daniel Ives, there is "a massive iPhone upgrade opportunity" in the making...' He said, "The new phones "will help capture the underlying demand [for] upgrades among customers that have made a decision to bypass the ... cycle this time around, with price points and features that catalyze fence-sitting iPhone customers onto their next smartphone".

Images of a dual SIM card tray in a new Apple device have already been leaked, but the post from a company's social media account feels like more legitimate confirmation, as spotted by GSMArena. Compared to the 5.8-inch display on the iPhone X and the rumoured Xs, this phone would feature a massive OLED display that measures almost 6.5 inches. According to reports, at least two of the new iPhones will be priced around $1,000.

The name of the biggest iPhone might be iPhone Xs Max according to certain leaks, but we are sure it is going to measure 6.5 inches.

Last month, Apple blog 9to5Mac published what it said was an actual marketing photo for two new iPhone devices. Like last year, Apple is not expected to include Touch ID on this year's iPhones as well. Details on the primary camera are missing.

Apple may throw a wrench in its usual iPhone naming scheme by using letters (and Roman numerals) instead of numbers.

The report says that the 6.1-inch iPhone's availability will be limited because the firm initially faced problems with the manufacturing of the LCD panel of the particular device.

This budget will be similar to its trio siblings in some ways, for example, it will feature an all-screen design, but in order to cut costs and sell it at a cheaper price, the budget iPhone will not be equipped with all the premium features.

In 2014 Apple launched its first bigger iPhone, the 6 series by the name of Plus and maybe the company want to erase that connection. However, it would get a 3GB RAM, mated with two storage configurations - 64GB and 256GB. The LCD iPhone could be equipped with a single-lens camera, compared with the double-lens cameras on the higher-end iPhones. Those colors were revealed by leakster Ben Geskin, a.k.a. @VenyaGeskin1, as red, white, space gray, and rose gold.
