Bears Collapse In 24-23 Loss To Packers

Would you bet on the Bears because of the addition of Khalil Mack

Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers returned in the third quarter Sunday after suffering a knee injury in the first half against the Bears and threw three touchdown passes to lead Green Bay to a thrilling 24-23 victory.

The Bears next host the Seahawks for Monday Night Football at 8:20 p.m. ET, while the Packers host the Vikings next Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.

Veteran sports reporter Skip Bayless reported that Rodgers, "Appeared to be slightly shaking his head as the cart took him to the locker room. and his eyes looked a little teary".

It was Rodgers' first regular-season game home game since last September 28 against the Bears.

Rodgers was 3-of-7 passing for 13 yards and was sacked twice before leaving the game. Backup DeShone Kizer replaced Rodgers on Green Bay's next drive.

The TD was the third Rodgers has accounted for in the fourth quarter, and could very well go down in Packer lore as an all-timer if the team can hold onto their one-point lead in the dying comments of this instant classic. He was limited to seven games in 2017 because of a collarbone injury. He completed his first two passes, both of which were quick hitters likely created to ensure the Bears' pass rush couldn't get to Rodgers. Mack ended Kizer's first series with a strip-sack, as he ripped the ball out of the quarterback's hands.
