Melania Trump praises LeBron James in statement after husband insults him

Charlotte Hornets owner Michael Jordan responded to President Donald Trump's tweet that most likely referenced him and LeBron James.

"What I've noticed over the past few months (is) he's (Trump) kinda used sports to kinda divide us, and that's something that I can't relate to", James told Lemon.

But in yet another blow for the President, Jordan came out in support of James, saying he's "doing fantastic work for his community". "Lebron James was just interviewed by the dumbest man on television, Don Lemon".

Twitter lit up with criticism against President Donald Trump after he took aim at National Basketball Association star LeBron James on Friday night.

Former Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has weighed in on the feud between Donald Trump and LeBron James, telling the president he should "love all".

The First Lady's spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham issued a statement saying, she'd be open to visiting his I Promise School adding that he's, "working to do good things".

Asked later what he'd say if he ever found himself face-to-face with Trump, he replied: "I would never sit across from him".

James described Trump as a "bum" following the furor.

Many came to James' defense on Twitter and pointed out Trump's hypocrisy.

Melania Trump, though, was apparently focused on a different part of the Lemon-James conversation. The Hill notes that Trump has repeatedly targeted black athletes, as well as other prominent African-Americans like Maxine Waters, a point that didn't escape one well-known newscaster who railed against the president's latest tweet. "A man who puts kids in classrooms or one who puts kids in cages?" he tweeted. The grossly insecure President, who is manic over and obsessed with cable news, simply can not handle criticism and responds with wild and baseless personal attacks.

"Her platform centres around visiting organizations, hospitals and schools, and she would be open to visiting the I Promise School in Akron", Grisham said.

Since Mrs. Trump's initial comments about James, which she delivered through her spokesperson, a senior White House official has insisted that the First Lady was in no way picking sides by praising James for his charity work.
