Samsung Galaxy Note 9: Everything you need to know

Samsung Galaxy Note9 pricing appears in Indonesia - news

A few days from now, Samsung will unveil its latest phablet series smartphone, Galaxy Note 9, on August 9 at the company's "Unpacked" event in NY. The latest report coming from Indonesia, where the smartphone was listed for pre-order, revealing its price as well as some of its colour variants.

Over the weekend, there was some news about Lazada leaking the price unofficially for the Samsung Galaxy Note 9.

Galaxy Note 9's S-Pen would have some fancy new features.

Those rough conversions do work out slightly cheaper than previous Galaxy Note 9 price leaks, but prices in local markets won't simply be a straight conversion so we'd expect the US, UK and Australia costs to be higher than what we've estimated here. The uppermost variant of 512 GB storage has a price tag of 17,500,000 Indonesian rupiahs which is equal to $1,215. The 256GB model could increase the price to IDR 17500000 (approx $1215 or Rs 83500). This time around the device will feature a horizontal camera setup. It will retain the Infinity Display design as seen in the Galaxy Note8, but it comes with much slimmer bezels in the top and bottom. Pre-order customers also get a free Samsung 32-inch Smart TV, cashback offers up to Rp 750,000 (US$52), and free mobile data. This makes sense, as it will be easy for fingers access and also, most importantly, consumers will be less likely to touch the camera sensors, which was one of the nagging issues for the Galaxy Note8 owners and critics alike. The accessory will let users charge two smartphones or one smartphone and the Galaxy Watch wirelessly at the same time. In the USA, it is still rumored to include a Snapdragon 845. In India, the device will come with an Exynos 9810 processor.

The iconic stylus that differentiates the phablet from others in the market will see a redesign as well as the addition of new functionality. The Galaxy Note9 will be backed by a 4,000mAh non-removable battery. It is rumored that you can connect the S Pen via Bluetooth as well. The smartphone will also reportedly support Bixby 2.0 and will be fuelled by 4000mAh battery.
