Samsung Galaxy Watch to gatecrash the Note 9's August launch event

Samsung

It is scheduled to hold an event on August 9 to announce the Note 9.

The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has been rumored to be a tame refresh of its predecessor - the key differences being a removal of the physical home button (in favor of on-screen one) and a slimmer profile, thanks to thinner bezels.

If they are accurate, the Galaxy Note 9 is set up to look pretty similar to the Galaxy Note 8, which isn't a bad thing by any means. The invitation hints to vibrantly colored S Pens that come with the new Galaxy Note devices, and some rumors claim the Galaxy Note 9 itself will come in a variety of similarly vibrant colors. New reports suggest that that's the same day the Galaxy Note 9 will hit store shelves as well. It gives us a clear look at Samsung's upcoming flagship, complete with a dual rear camera setup and a fingerprint reader below it, which is different than on the Note 8. The footprint of the rectangular fingerprint scanner is considerably smaller than in the Note 8. The new move highlights the two camera sensors as well as the LED flash module and the heart rate sensor. However, the new S Pen sits alongside the frontal view of the handset shows an attractive Gold colour view. Instead, it comes in a Blue colour that matches the colour option of the Galaxy Note 9. The larger models will have a fingerprint-on-display (FOD) scanner so you can touch the display to unlock the device. On the inside, it packed a Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor coupled with 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage.

The Galaxy Watch will be unveiled together with the Galaxy Note 9 at Unpacked on August 9 in NY. The same event, which will be held in NY, is also likely to be the place for the Galaxy Watch and Galaxy Tab S4.
