XXXTentacion foreshadowed his own 'tragic death' months ago in video

According to a tweet from the Broward County Sheriff's Office, officers are investigating "an incident regarding a shooting" in Deerfield Beach, about 43 miles north of Miami, in which an "adult male victim was transported to an area hospital".

His single "SAD!" had been listened to more than 173 million times on YouTube, and reached the top-10 of the Billboard Hot 100 list.

Jidenna also clarified that his intent wasn't to actually compare Malcolm to XXXTentacion, "but to point out that a young lost kid can evolve into something greater". He denied the charges recently to the Miami New Times. But after a backlash in the music industry, Spotify backpedaled and said it would no longer attempt to police conduct and restored XXXTentacion to its playlists (although they did not do the same for R. Kelly).

"The adult male victim has been confirmed as 20 year old Jahseh Onfroy aka rapper #XXXTentacion". Some of hip-hop's most legendary lyricists talked about their demise in songs and videos, with both Tupac Shakur and Notorious B.I.G. doing so in the 1990s.

At the end of the video, XXXTentacion spoke about violence and American youth. The choice is yours, but your child will not stand for the hate. "I never told you how much you inspired me when you were here thank you for existing".

On Twitter, his peers expressed shock and sadness.

The young man isn't the first rapper to foreshadow his own death. "I didn't know him personally but I respect how passionate he was about his music and message. So I just wanted to say I appreciate and love all you and believe in you all". Nobody deserves this kind of ending. gone too soon, damn!

Rapper J Cole said: "This for me f***ed up". "X spread nothing but positivity".

Following his arrest, XXXtentacion was placed on house arrest.
