Respawn’s Star Wars Game Officially Titled Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order!

"It's going to be spectacular", says Zampella, but then he would say that. The game will take place between episodes 3 and 4, in a time where the Jedi are being hunted. That places it between Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith and IV: A New Hope.

As the name suggests, it's a Jedi-themed game, but that's pretty much all we know at this point, aside from its release date: Fall 2019.

Respawn had previously announced momentum on this new third-person action-adventure game in 2016 with former God of War director Stig Asmussen at the helm. But considering that the Clone Wars expansion is confirmed for Battlefront II later this year, that gives the team just enough time to give this game the push it needs. No word on whether the game with feature any pre-existing characters or an all-new cast, but it's doubtful that an Obi-Wan: Hiding in a Cave simulator would make for the most exciting depiction of the period.

Star Wars is a hot property and EA will want to keep the hype surrounding it alive.

Players will soon be able to travel to the planet Geonosis, which will be "the largest map ever built", as teased at the presentation.
