EA Announces Origin Access Premier

Starting this summer, Origin Access Premier members can play new EA releases on PC before anyone else, including "Madden 19", "FIFA 19", "Battlefield V", and "Anthem".

Publisher Electronic Arts is launching its own PC video game subscription service called Origin Access Premier, it announced Saturday during its E3 2018 press conference.

Madden NFL 19 new details have been revealed at EA Play 2018. New subscribers who aren't now a member of an Origin Access plan will be able to get a seven day trial.

The new subscription will allow you the ability to play games as they launch. Battlefield V follows on October 11, while the new social Action-RPG Anthem isn't expected until February 15, 2019.

The basic Origin Access provides gamers with a trove of over a hundred past games from EA and other publishers.

Pre-registration for Origin Access Premier will open today, Electronic Arts says. Along with a 10% discount on Origin purchases. Additionally, a Premier membership grants unlimited access to The Sims 4. Anthem, Battlefield V, Federation Internationale de Football Association 19, and Madden 19 were all confirmed for the service, with access to the standard Origin Access library also under the subscription.
