Russian President Vladimir Putin called for the development of a new European security system Thursday in response to what he says is a USA effort to undermine strategic parity and warned that a third world war could end civilization.

A White House National Security Council official confirmed to Sputnik that the Austrian government has expressed a willingness to play host to a meeting between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
