Two Blockbuster Matches Announced for WWE Money in the Bank 2018

According to WWE.com, Jax shockingly named Rousey as her next challenger at the NBCUniversal upfronts in New York City's Radio City Music Hall.

Her first PPV match came at WrestleMania 34 last month when she teamed with Raw General Manager Kurt Angle to defeat Stephania McMahon and Triple H in a mixed tag team match.

Ronda Rousey will take on Raw women's champion Nia Jax for her title at the Money In the Bank event on June 17, live on Sky Sports Box Office.

Being humble at the challenge thrown at her, Ronda felt that she was just a match old at WWE and that there are other deserving women who should be given an opportunity at the title shot. Stephanie talked about what the revolution has meant for the company before bringing out Jax, Rousey and Flair.

However, there could be a very good reason why WWE made a decision to suddenly book Rousey in this match at Money in the Bank rather than SummerSlam, with Twitter account Wrestle Votes revealing the possible reason before the match was officially announced while the rumours were still circulating. Rousey was surprisingly impressive in her first bout, but a singles match is very different than what she was a part of at "WrestleMania".

It was at that event that Jax won the title, beating her former friend Alexa Bliss to raise the gold in New Orleans.

This is the second official match scheduled for Money in the Bank. Finn Balor, Braun Strowman, The Miz and Rusev are confirmed entrants in the eight-man ladder match.

What do you make of the possible reason WWE booked a huge title match for Ronda Rousey at Money in the Bank?
