Durant's 37 lead Warriors over Rockets 119-106

The Houston Rockets managed to win the season series over the Warriors 2-1, including their narrow one-point victory on Opening Night. Jaylen Brown tallied a game-high 23 points to lead Boston to the win, while Marcus Morris added 21. It's certainly something that concerns me in this series but I do feel that the Beard will rise above it and show the league why he's the real MVP for 2017-18 season. In fact, some members of the team accidentally booked plane tickets for family and friends to arrive in The Bay for Games 1 and 2, forgetting they were starting the series in Houston.

The defending champion Warriors, who cruised to 58 wins this season without breaking a sweat, have made three straight NBA Finals appearances, winning twice. I'm simply underwhelmed-I know people who hold the Warriors' current play against them, as if the least they could give back to the sport was product that showcased them in all their hyper-virtuosic glory. Whichever team comes up with the most 50/50 balls will have the best shot at advancing to the NBA Finals. Simply put, the Warriors are a juggernaut. If they beat the Celtics, they'll take on the victor of what should be a grueling Western Conference Finals.

Curry broke up a pass, chased down the loose ball and found Andre Iguodala for a breakaway dunk midway through the third quarter. They've owned the Rockets in the past. Despite not living up to his early-season play after returning from injury, Jordan Bell might see some playing time in this series as the only big man capable of keeping up with Capela athletically. That's way down from his 35.9 percent in the regular season.

"It was just a learning experience for us on how to be successful on the road in a hostile environment during the playoffs", Stephen Curry said of the 2014 series.

These two teams averaged more points per game than any other rival in the league so it will be fair to expect an array of shooting from both sides. The Rockets won two of three matchups between the teams this season, and Houston arguably had the stronger regular season. But offseason additions Luc Mbah a Moute and P.J. The Warriors should watch out for Clint Capela as well; he has the speed to switch onto guards defensively while defending the rim as well as anyone in basketball.

Durant added two free throws to close out the quarter and leave the Warriors up 87-80 entering the fourth. "And we've done a pretty good job of that so far throughout the playoffs". Paul's historically excellent individual playoff stats have been undermined by his lack of team success in the postseason.

"I hope not", he said. Durant converted consecutive baskets midway through the second quarter to push Golden State to a lead. The Warriors don't have an active center who can match Capela's skill and Paul's cool hand keeps turnovers to a minimum which is what the Warriors thrive on.

Golden State is now 25-3 in its last 28 playoff games and are showing no signs of slowing down with its versatile weapons. "It's a nice feeling to have to go into a series with". If the Celtics are able to overcome King James just think how good they will be in the coming years. The rest of the cast of misfits brought in via mid-season trade and the ones designated to the bench from poor play, resulted in Lebron having to move mountains just to win a game. That set Houston on a path to the NBA's best record, as the Rockets remained neck-and-neck with the Warriors until after the All-Star break, when injuries hampered Golden State and Houston kept rolling.
