Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz have announced they are expecting a baby

Rachel Weisz and Daniel Craig attend

English actress Weisz announced the happy news on Friday in an interview with the New York Times to promote her new movie Disobedience.

After seven years of marriage, Rachel Weisz is expecting her first child with Daniel Craig. "I don't think mine's particularly exceptional apart from that we're both in the public eye".

Rachel is a mum to 11-year-old Henry, who she welcomed with Hollywood director Darren Aronofsky while the pair dated between 2001 and 2010.

She added, "I love being Mrs. Craig". The actor also produces the film which co-stars Rachel McAdams (totally not confusing). But Daniel and I are really similar.

This will be Rachel and Daniel's first child together, but they both already have children from previous relationships.

Speaking to the Daily Telegraph, the actress said she doesn't believe a woman should pick up where Craig will leave off, but should instead "get their own stories".

"He just meant 'I can't think about this today, ' having just done one", she said. Rachel's excitement knew no bounds while she made this announcement.

And although Daniels is 50, his age is less relevant due to the fact that men can produce healthy sperm throughout most of their lives, says Williams.

She shared: 'I couldn't relate to romantic comedies - marriage seems to be the whole point of them.

Rachel was able to hide her baby bump when she stepped out on the red carpet in NY on April 9.

Craig is best known for his work in the 007 franchise.

"She's this gorgeous, timeless, poised, wickedly smart beauty, but she likes to keep things messy and unexpected".
