According to police, Rowley walked into a bank in Ansonia, Connecticut last week and demanded money.

A 26-year-old man is in police custody after he allegedly robbed a CT bank in order to impress Taylor Swift. Law enforcement officials tell TMZ Rowley was spotted by state troopers after leaving Swift's vacation spot and they chased him back to CT, where he was eventually pulled over.

He told cops that he planned to donate money allegedly robbed from Webster Bank to the police department in hopes of impressing her, officers said.

He has been charged with second-degree robbery and fourth-degree larceny.

WVIT reported that local police had issued an arrest warrant for Rowley and a search warrant for his Derby home and 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Rowley was eventually placed under arrest. Rowley then drove 90 minutes to Swift's sprawling 17-million dollar waterfront mansion in Rhode Island.

Look what love made him do.

Police are still trying to figure out if he actually went to Swift's home.

The incident comes a year after a Pennsylvania man was accused of stalking the pop star at her Tribeca residence. Police say Rowley refused to stop and eventually entered CT. Luckily she also wasn't at that property at the time the man approached it, but that didn't stop him from throwing some of the stolen money over her lawn. The man had a delusion that he was marrying or already married to the singer and they have been living in Beverly Hills.
