Philips Hue is a popular smart home lighting system, so it was only a matter of time before the company extended to the outdoors.

"The Philips Hue outdoor range enables you to make the most of your outside areas, be it creating the ideal ambiance to host a BBQ at the weekend or beautifying your garden."

Philips Hue Lily a new spotlight with integrated outdoor case. Well, the new Philips Hue Lily is described as a "unique spotlight" created to highlight features like flowerbeds or potted plants. Like your indoor lights, you'll be able to tap to turn lights off or on, set schedules, and even have lights automatically turn on when you approach home.

The color temperature range is 2200-6500 Kelvin and there are 16 million colors available from the color lights. Philips Hue Calla Alternatively, the Philips Hue Calla is flawless for path lighting and can also be used to enhance your outdoor space. But the new products are designed for exteriors, starting with wall-mounted lights for back and front door coverage. Presumably, we'll have more information on products availability at that point.

Less details are available for the Philips Hue White range however prices start from £62. The Hue line is also getting a PAR38 bulb that will slot into existing fixtures, with each bulb costing $29 and a double-pack available for $49. Another bulb, the Calla (see the theme?), is priced at $129.99 and is meant to be installed in walkways and paths.
