Huawei's sub-brand Honor has today launched the Honor 7C in China.

"Face Unlock Intelligent feature is usually available in flagship level smartphones, however, Honor in its endeavor to deliver unmatched smartphone innovation to the Indian consumers has introduced this feature in the coveted Honor 7X" said P Sanjeev, Vice-President, Sales, Huawei Consumer Business Group. There is no word yet on Honor 7C's global availability. The smartphone is powered by a 1.8GHz Snapdragon 450 Octa-Core processor coupled with Adreno 506 GPU. The Honor 7C sports a 5.99-inch display with HD+ (1440 x 720 pixels) display and 18:9 aspect ratio. The Honor 7C likely packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor which is built on the 14nm silicon and comes with support for FHD+ displays. Both storages are expandable up to 256GB.

As stated, the Honor 7C offers 3GB/4GB RAM of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage depending on the variant. The main lens is downgraded from 16 to 13 megapixels, with a secondary 2MP sensor contributing to (middling) portrait photography. The secondary sensor will allow users to take photos with a shallow depth of field so the subject stands out. As seen on TENAA, there is an 8MP camera on the front for capturing selfies. A 3000 mAh non-removable battery is inside the phone.
