Reliance Jio revamps its Rs 153 plan; offers 1GB data per day

Reliance Jio offering more than 100% cashback on recharges worth ₹398 or above

Just last week, I was at a Jio gallery to check if the new 2018 plans had come into effect; more importantly to see if the store guys were updated about the changes in the Jio prepaid plans from 9th January.

For the JioPhone customers, the Jio is offering 500MB Data daily, free voice calls, free SMS on Rs 153 recharge plan earlier. The Rs 52 pack offers a total of 1.05GB of 4G data with a daily limit of 150MB per day.

Jio Prime subscribers buying a recharge of Rs. 398 or more will get eight vouchers worth Rs. 50, totalling Rs. 400 in value.

If a user consumes the 1GB data FUP per day, then the Sachet recharges comes into play. For the MobiKwik users, the cashback is Rs. 300 along with 100% SuperCash MobiKwik hotel voucher up to Rs. 2,500. Along with this, users also get unlimited free voice calls along with 100 SMSes per day. This plan offers 1GB data per day and the validity is 82 days. The move is targeted at putting Jio Phone users at par with regular smartphone users in terms of data consumption. Jio recently slashed data rates across its prepaid plans. All the packs are subject to unlimited data access at 64Kbps once the daily limit is over. Here are we are comparing 1GB Data per day prepaid plans & 1.5GB data per day plans of Airtel, Vodafone and Reliance Jio. The Rs 24 pack gives benefits for two days, while the Rs 54 plan offers benefits for seven days. But wait, didn't the Jio Rs 149 plan offer 28GB data at 1GB per day for the same duration along with the other benefits? Last plan is 449 and it offers 91GB data for 91 days. The first plan is 198 plan and it comes with 42GB data for 28 days.

Telecom biggie Reliance Jio has introduced two new sachet packs under Rs 100.
