New Quests and Regions for Assassin's Creed Origins

New Quests and Regions for Assassin's Creed Origins

While you're exploring and fighting your way through Sinai you can level up to the new cap of 45, find four new Legendary weapons and two new mounts, and even take all of your crafted gear up two more levels.

Ubisoft has finally released an update on when Assassin's Creed Origins' Discovery Tour will release!

Assassin's Creed Origins is a brand-new vision for the franchise, embracing action-RPG elements where players level up, loot and choose their abilities to customize their very own skilled Assassin. The Hidden Ones will release on January 23rd, 2018 as part of the season pass or as a $9.99 standalone purchase. They will experience a completely new combat system, allowing them to attack and defend multiple enemies at once and equip ultra-rare weapons against unique and powerful bosses. Announced back in September, Discovery Tour by Assassin's Creed: Ancient Egypt will be made available as a free download for all Assassin's Creed Origin players.

The game's storyline and quests are not active in this combat free mode, so there's no risk associated with it. While the first DLC extend the main story, this second DLC takes players on a completely different journey that's immersed in Egyptian mythology with battles against ancient pharaohs and Egyptian bests. The Curse of the Pharaohs is set to release on March 6th as part of the season pass or can be purchased separately for $19.99. With an entire country to explore, from deserts to lush oases, from the Mediterranean Sea to the tombs of Giza, players will fight against risky factions and wild beasts as they explore this huge and unpredictable land. Apart from some more new gear, The Curse of the Pharaohs raises the level cap to 55. It has a focus on Egyptian mythology as players will go up against famous pharaohs and Egyptian beasts to uncover the cause of the curse.

While both expansions sound great, a new free update for all players will be coming on February 20th and is the one that really caught my eye. This educational tour of Egypt doesn't let you slit throats, but you can still walk around and learn about Egypt's history and culture. These include general bug fixing for broken quests that may hinder players from completing their objectives.

The Hidden Ones is the first DLC to land alongside the base game. For further details, please visit here.
