The new connected TVs will work in unison with other LG ThinQ products, such as the new CLOi robot, plus LG's smart refrigerators and speakers.

That being said, this rollable LG OLED TV feature will certainly pave the way for adoption of similar technology in other consumer electronics segments - particularly smartphones.

LG's concept rollable TV has all the bells and whistles with an 65-inch diagonal bezel-free form factor and 8K resolution.

LG has unveiled a 65-inch Ultra-High-Definition OLED TV with a flexible display that rolls up into its base.

Recently, LG has been getting a lot of publicity as the countdown to CES 2018 continues; the company already announced multiple products to be showcased at the tech show this year including its enormous 88-inch 8k TV and 4k UHD projector.

Designed with convenience in mind, the telly can be rolled up to free up wall space when not in use, which also makes it far more portable than your average super screen.

That's a big ask though, LG's OLED displays are still hogging the limelight and with good reason.

The pricing information on the device has also not been given yet.

But we would know more in the coming days with the prototype all set to be appearing at the show floor in CES.

LG is having a bumper year at CES this week, as the technology company revealed a wide range of smart home gadgets and appliances under its new ThinQ sub-brand.

At CES 2018, Acer revved up the laptop parade with its premium Swift 7 aimed at on-the-go professionals.

Now The South Korean giant is planning to introduce the world's largest 88-inch 8K OLED display, according to Engadget. Under the hood, the high-end TVs are powered by LG's fastest Alpha 9 that LG says can more accurate color and "enhanced image rendering".

Also, the foldable feature isn't the only USP of the TV given that it also excels in its primary role as well, that of a TV in the first place.

LG appears to have lifted the bar one more time by revealing what can be dubbed as the OLED screen with maximum resolution for now.
