Kendall: 'Don't give me s**t about acne'

Kendall Jenner attends the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday

Things have obviously changed for the better because after one positive Twitter fan pointed out that she was fantastic for going out during the breakout, Jenner responded, "Never let that shit stop you!" It completely ruined my self-esteem.

Good on Kendall for being so honest about it!

The 22-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashians star stunned at the event in Beverly Hills, wearing a princess-style Giambattista Valli black gown in homage to the Time's Up movement.

"Kendall Jenner stepped out on that red carpet with some acne and textured skin so we wouldn't talk about her lips", another quipped, referencing the starlet's noticeably plumper pout.

Luckily, Kendall is now more confident in her skin, but she says "it wasn't anything that happened overnight". She gave me hope and even a little confidence.

Jenner noticed that message of support and responded with an inspiring - and be warned, slightly sweary - message of her own for all of her followers.

Jenner also posted a video, produced by Vogue, of her getting ready for the Globes. Several users-even if they weren't fans of Jenner or her family-came to her defense and praised her for showing that everyone, no matter how rich or famous, has experienced acne and skin problems. The model previously revealed how it used to hugely impact her self-confidence. "Sure, I had crushes in high school, but I wouldn't even think about looking at guys".

"(S) howing up and strutting her acne while looking like a gorgeous star is what every girl needs to understand", the young woman tweeted. "But slowly, I'm working towards not caring and I'm just in so much of a better place about it all now that I'm older".
