New Notebook 7 Spin from Samsung a Fit for Small Business

No pricing has been revealed yet, but it will be available in the USA in the first quarter of the year.

The notebook runs on Windows 10 operating system and it also comes fingerprint scanner for quick log-in using Windows Hello. It comes with a 360-degree touchscreen and it has support for Active Pen (sold separately).

Samsung has announced it is unveiling an updated version of the original Notebook 7 Spin that was introduced back in 2016. There's an 8th-generation Intel Core i7 chipset thrumming away inside, and you'll be able to pick up models with up to 16GB of DDR4 RAM and a 512GB SSD, though Samsung is still keeping quiet on pricing.

The Samsung Notebook 7 Spin (2018) will be available in select countries starting in the first quarter of 2018. The recordings can then be stored on Samsung Cloud for future access. The Notebook 7 Spin sports a 13.3-inch display with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels.

The Active Pen is the new Notebook 7 Spin's flawless companion for when users are attending meetings, listening to lectures or participating in conference calls. We don't have any word on battery life yet, but the 13.3-inch version of the Notebook 9 Pen is powered by a 39Wh battery, which is nothing to write home about, while the larger, 15-inch, model has a 75Wh battery. It also features a precision touchpad and a backlit keyboard with 1.5mm keystroke and curved keycap. Connectivity-wise, you get 1x USB-C, 1x USB 3.0, 1x USB 2.0, 1x HDMI, and 1x headphone/microphone port. There is a VGA front camera for video calling. He added, "Our customers wanted a functional, intuitive device that includes a wide range of their favorite features, and that's what we've delivered with the Notebook 7 Spin (2018)".

One of the highlights of the Notebook is that it includes a fingerprint sensor for authentication, which will work with Windows Hello security suite.

The company says that the new Notebook is designed for working professionals, students and those looking for entertainment.
