Reliance Jio Happy New Year 2018 offers

Vodafone Offers More Data Validity With Rs. 458 and Rs. 509 Plans as Jio Cuts Prices

Sources are saying that Reliance Jio will cut the prices of its plans with 1GB data per day by up to Rs. 60 as part of a new Happy New Year 2018 offer. Now, Airtel has revised the plan to add seven more days' validity and offer 1GB data per day for 91 days.

Starting Tuesday, the Rs. 199, Rs. 399, Rs. 459 and Rs. 499 Jio plans will cost Rs. 149, Rs. 349, Rs. 399 and Rs. 449, respectively.

For its 1.5GB plans, Jio has increased the data limit by 50% while keeping the rates intact.

All these data packs come with their similar offer of unlimited calls, SMS bundle, and access to Jio's bundle of applications. The Rs 448 plan that earlier came with 70 days' validity and offered 70GB data is now valid for 82 days which means 82GB data in total. Subscribers will get 28GB of data spread over 28 days. As a result, Jio Prime members can take advantage of 84GB data with a validity of 84 days at the price of Rs 399.

Airtel also revised its Rs 799 prepaid plan last week.

With the introduction of Reliance Jio, telecom users have been competing hard to stay alive in the market and keep existing users under control by luring them with offers comparable to the ones provided by Jio. In short, customers can avail 1GB data per day in addition to unlimited calling and SMS for that duration.

Rs 198 plan: Jio now offers more data on this. However, both the plans differed in terms of validity. The telco now offers either 50 per cent more data or has cut down the tariff of the plan by Rs 50. Apart from this, users will get unlimited voice calls on local and STD networks. The validity of this plan will be 91 days.

Airtel has made a decision to also provide unlimited calling facility to its users but with "terms and conditions"; voice calls limited to 300 minutes per day and 1200 minutes per week. The plan also offers unlimited local and STD calls with unlimited SMS.
