James Corden Welcomes Baby, Initially Names Her Beyoncé

Still picking out a name On Thursday's edition of The Late Late Show the Englishman admitted the he and Julia still hadn't chosen a name for their little one

"After the baby was born, I was crying, my wife was crying her eyes out, the baby's crying, and the doctor asked about a name".

Regular fans of The Late Late Show may have been annoyed by the timing of Corden's absence, which coincided with the exceptionally riff-worthy special senatorial election in Alabama.

As Corden explained on stage, he took his then-pregnant wife, Julia Carey, in for a routine check-up on Tuesday and got an unexpected warning from the doctor.

But because the parents weren't quite ready for the new addition to the family, when it came down to choosing the flawless name, Corden did was he does best: comedy.

James and Julia are already parents to son Max, six, and three-year-old daughter Carey. He explained: "It's a really bad thing and your wife is 8 and a half months pregnant and the doctor is talking to her about very serious things about giving birth and there's really no easy way to bring up the fact that you have to tape a show that day". So when the delivering doctor asked for her moniker to fill out the form, Corden panicked and did what we all do in a crisis situation: He looked to Beyoncé for help. "I had to go over to her and go 'Excuse me, there's only Beyonce, '" he said.

"This is probably happening today", they were told just hours before he was due to tape his show.

"Today we welcomed a attractive baby daughter into the world", Corden said on Twitter. Thank you Harry for stepping in to host the show at 2 and a half hours notice! x x x'. "I called Harry Styles".

Considering Beyonce is not an option, what should they name the baby girl?
