PUBG Will Run At 30FPS Across Xbox One Platforms

He says last time he checked it ran at 30-40 FPS and they are continuing to improve it.

"Sure, from a server point of view we have to be, but that's what our goal here is".

PlayerUnknown's Battleground, popularly known as PUBG, will arrive on the Xbox One soon.

Taking to Twitter creative director Brendan Greene emphasized that the game is still in early production, and as a result won't be running at 60FPS at launch. Not only is the hugely popular arena shooter slated to exit early access on PC by the end of the month, but it will also be arriving on consoles.

"Definitely on Xbox One X, 60FPS".

Let us know what you think about the state in which Battlegrounds is in right now.

"We want to get those 4K textures in there, but we still have to make them. Fuck" cause it's a lot of work. While the Xbox One X is nearly guaranteed to hit this locked threshold at launch, the standard Xbox One is a little more up in the air right now. What's more is that new weapon types have been found digging around the PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds game files as well including a sawed-off shotgun, a Winchester style rifle, and a revolver.

As of writing, it is unknown when, or if the FPS rate will increase on PUBG for Xbox One following the December 12th launch.

A couple of days ago, Bluehole and Tencent made public their collaboration to bring PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds to mobile devices.

This data comes from a report by SuperData (via PCGamesN) which showed that League of Legends was the most profitable game of October, as usual, while Battelgrounds followed closely behind.

The Xbox One version will be the first time PUBG will be available on consoles but that doesn't mean it is the first game of its type to appear on consoles.
