Applebee's is offering $1 Long Island iced teas throughout December

Applebee’s to Sell $1 Long Islands Ice Teas Until 2018 Jiggy Jones

For the entire month of December, Applebee's is selling Long Island Ice Teas for just one dollar. As someone who spent an oddly sizable amount of time watching her roommate sing yacht-rock karaoke at the Clearwater, Florida Applebee's, this promotion seems very consistent with the Applebee's experience. According to a statement from Applebee's, the drink is "available all day, every day" at participating locations.

Sure, a Long Island Iced Tea may be a cocktail better suited to summer than to the wintry holiday season, but Scrooge wouldn't turn up his nose at a mix of four liquors and one liqueur for a buck.

Jamie, you're paying a dollar to get L.I.T honestly, take your negativity out for a $10 cocktail.

As always, Applebees wants to remind everyone to drink responsibly which, in this case, might mean sticking to soda.

Applebee's Neighborhood Grill + Bar offers a lively casual dining experience combining simple, craveable American fare, classic drinks and local drafts. Customers can find out if a location near them is offering the drink by calling restaurants in their area. Applebee's is one of the world's largest casual dining brands; as of June 30, 2017, there are almost 2,000 Applebee's franchise restaurants in all 50 states, Puerto Rico, Guam and 14 other countries.

In August, DineEquity, the parent company of Applebee's and IHOP announced it would be closing up to 160 restaurants Thursday in a bid to shore up profits.
