Rumours of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 are picking up heat - after image leaks from unknown sources to listings on Chinese telecom sites, buzz about the upcoming Xiaomi smartphone is really picking up online. The battery setup may also drop a bit than the Redmi 4. Alongside the image, some key specifications of the smartphone have also been leaked now.

Popular apps in the Mi Store include Mi Talk, Mi Cloud, FM Radio, Explorer, and with the introduction of MIUI 9 users will also be able to access native Android apps including mobile casino apps, social media apps, books, games, and more.

On the other hand, the Redmi 5 Plus is expected to feature a 5.99-inch screen that will carry support for FHD+ resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and an 18:9 aspect ratio. The front-facing camera will have 5MP resolution, similar to current Redmi phones, and in terms of connectivity, the phone will reportedly have a 3.5mm headphone jack, a microUSB 2.0 port (instead of USB Type-C), and dual SIM slots. The 5.99-inch display will have full-HD with 2.5D curved glass display. There will be another variant with 3GB RAM and 32GB onboard storage.

Redmi Y1 is Xiaomi's first phone in India which boasts a Selfie-light.

Redmi 4 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor, however, that may not be the case with the Redmi 5. Assumptions are such that the phone may cost around CNY 1,399 - which translates roughly around Rs 13,000.

There are two premium editions and these come with fingerprint scanners as well as upgraded specifications. It comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, and expandable storage up to 128GB via microSD.

The unveiling of the Desh Ka Smartphone – whatever it turns out to be – will be in two days on November 30. Since the Redmi Note 4 was the number one selling smartphone in 50 cities of India, Xiaomi will be looking to repeat its success. The same has been suggested by a newly leaked render of the Redmi 5. He hinted at the letter "I" but we aren't sure if this related to the new device being a smartphone or not. However, what we have today might be enough to know everything there is.

The Oppomart listed was removed, but this definitely does point to the possible launch of the new smartphones in the coming weeks. That's because the display is taller than any Redmi device released so far.
