Wenger demands Draxler in PSG bid for Arsenal attacker Alexis

Arsenal want Wilfried Zaha as Alexis Sanchez replacement?

The Sun reports that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has already started planning the club's future without Sanchez, who is in his final contract year and does not seem keen to renew.

Arsenal are lining up a £35m bid to sign Wilfried Zaha from Crystal Palace as a potential replacement for Alexis Sanchez, according to reports in the British media.

Zaha, 25, is reportedly top of the Frenchman's wish list to replace the Chilean forward.

The Crystal Palace midfielder has been a rare positive for their relegation-threatened side, with the winger contributing two of their four league goals so far this campaign. He signed a five-year contract extension at Selhurst Park in May.

Zaha has been rated highly in the United Kingdom for some time, and was even signed by Manchester United previously, but he wasn't given a fair shot, and was sent out on loan after only half a season, before being allowed to re-join Crystal Palace a year after he had left them.

Arsenal may face competition for Zaha from rivals Tottenham, whose manager Mauricio Pochettino is understood to be an admirer of the winger.

The Gunners may look to cash in during the January transfer window in order to recoup some of the £31.7m they paid Barcelona for him.

"We used to have a philosophy at Arsenal: If you don't want to be at the club, then bye-bye, we shake your hand, get people that do, whatever money", he was quoted as saying by Manchester Evening News.

The Gunners are thought to be in search of a replacement for Chile superstar Alexis Sanchez, who is likely to depart from London in the next few months.
