The Goop founder is one of dozens of women accusing film producer Harvey Weinstein of sexual misconduct after an investigation uncovered three-decades of allegations of sexual assault and harassment against the Hollywood exec. Maerov said, "Her name came up in 2015, but I don't remember who brought it up".

"It's not like they're going to talk to everyone Weinstein has ever talked to", one law-enforcement said.

Hollywood has been rocked by allegations against film mogul Harvey Weinstein - which first came to light a week ago in a New York Times article.

Nestor was new to the job at the company's Los Angeles office when Harvey Weinstein invited her to breakfast at the Peninsula Beverly Hills and made her an offer: If she accepted his sexual advances, he would boost her career, according to accounts, viewed by The Times, that she provided to colleagues who passed them along to executives.

On Weinstein, the 79-year-old said: "I wish I had spoken out ..." I felt guilty as if I did something wrong.

The encounter, which she said occurred after Weinstein hired her for the lead role in Emma, allegedly ended with him placing his hands on her and suggesting a massage.

On Wednesday, model and actress Cara Delevingne posted on Instagram that Weinstein, during a meeting, asked her to kiss another woman and then attempted to kiss her as she tried to leave. "I'm hanging in-I'm trying my best", he says.

'It's really inspiring to see that in a young woman.' the Avengers star said.

His attorney Charles Harder said last week that the initial New York Times story, which also included allegations that Weinstein had reached confidential settlements with his accusers, was "saturated with false and defamatory statements" and said that he was preparing a lawsuit.

After the episode, Maerov said, Harvey Weinstein refused to let the board review his personnel file directly.

NYPD Chief of Detectives Robert Boyce has told the Special Victims Division to go back and try to interview other potential victims of Weinstein's - two days after the New Yorker reported that three women have claimed the famed director sexually assaulted them, sources said.

The Weinstein Company says it takes the allegations "extremely seriously" and is launching an inquiry.

In the audio of their conversation which was released by the magazine, Weinstein can be heard apologizing for grabbing her breast and then repeatedly pressuring her to come into his hotel room.

Prime Minister Theresa May also spoke out about the scandal on Wednesday.

"These actions point to a pattern of behavior that merits only the clearest and most unequivocal condemnation", festival president Pierre Lescure and general delegate Thierry Fremaux wrote in a statement.

She explained that the producer, with whom she has worked on several movies, has never harmed her.
