'Star Wars: The Last Jedi' Ticket Offers & Theatre Exclusive Perks Revealed

Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes will gets its first The Last Jedi character in December

Good news for fans of Star Wars: on Monday Night Football, you'll be able to see a callow young warrior face the challenge of surviving a merciless, bloodthirsty horde.

If history's any guide, don't look for the trailer to show up right after kickoff.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi stars Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong'o, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Gwendoline Christie, Kelly Marie Tran, Laura Dern and Benicio Del Toro. This has been suspected for a while thanks to various leaked reports, but now it's confirmed. Monday Night Football with the Vikings at the Bears kicks off at 8:30 p.m. ET on ESPN.

Get your wallets ready. "Just breathe." The clip ends with Rey handing over Luke his old light saber.

Hasbro also revealed on Thursday a line of 3.75-inch figures of characters who first appeared in 2015's The Force Awakens, including the Imperial commander Captain Phasma and former stormtrooper Finn. The film is still largely shrouded in secrecy, but Monday we may get some new clues, because a new trailer is officially dropping.

The teaser is obviously a big point of interest, giving us a few more clips of Rey's lightsaber training under the tutelage of Luke Skywalker.

The eighth installment of the Star Wars franchise is written and directed by Rian Johnson and will hit theaters December 15.
