BlackBerry Motion, BlackBerry's Upcoming All-touchscreen Phone Image leaks

BlackBerry's upcoming all-touchscreen phone has leaked

BlackBerry's long-rumoured "Krypton" Android smartphone has been leaked in a new render. Today it became known the name - the device will be known as Motion, and it was shown at a fairly high quality render from Evan Blass.

The earlier reports had also said TCL was expecting the water and dust-resistance features would win over users.

As for what the device is expected to pack in, CrackBerry hints at a 1080p display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset, a 4,000 mAh battery which is similar to what you get on a KEYone. BlackBerry Motion should feature a full-HD IPS display and 4GB RAM. But even with the fingerprint reader the bezel seems abnormally large, which leads us to believe if BlackBerry has included a touchpad for UI interaction at the bottom. Of course, BlackBerry security additions on the software front will also be a part of this smartphone, when it is launched. However, since past couple of weeks, we have been hearing about yet another all-touchscreen BlackBerry smartphone called Krypton. There is a mysterious button on the right side, which could be some sort of an alert slider. The code name Krypton may have been an internal moniker for the impending smartphone, and to be fair, the "Motion" particularly has a pleasant name to it. The BlackBerry KEYone was launched with a single camera at the back and it looks like the Canadian company is not yet ready to jump aboard the dual-camera setup train.

The company says that makes the KEYone "the world's most secure Android smartphone".

The rendered image posted by Evan Blass also indicates that the forthcoming BlackBerry Motion handset will flaunt a 3.5mm audio jack and a USB Type-C port for charging at the bottom.
