LaVar Ball Pulls LaMelo Ball Out Of High School To Train Him

LaVar Ball pulling La Melo from Chino Hills'I'm not dealing with the coach over there

Ball had allegedly not gotten along with the new Chino Hills High School head coach, as both were apparently at odds over the style of play the team was running. Without me training those players at my house. LaVar said his son still intends to join the UCLA.

LaVar's latest decision, to lift LaMelo from the high school where he has starred, is shocking in that it's rare and counter-intuitive but also predictable in that LaVar's chief goal for his sons seems to be National Basketball Association stardom, and you don't need to know trigonometry or European history to make an All-Star Game.

LaVar pulled LaMelo Ball from Chino Hills High School during his junior year, according to the Los Angeles Times' Eric Sondheimer. He is, apparently, through with high school basketball, though.

"I'm making him the best basketball player, ever", LaVar said in an interview with LA Times. Ironically enough, the only thing Latimore did to anger LaVar was say that LaMelo needed to stop shooting 50 shots-a-game, which, he frankly isn't in the wrong for demanding. A more forgiving interpretation might call it the latest example of LaVar doing whatever it takes to get his son where they both want him to go. "Less distractions. He just needs to focus".

"I see him going to college, but we're going to see what goes on; his development and how everything goes, we'll see". The youngest of the Ball brothers infamously scored 92 points in a game last season and was slated to be a huge star this coming season but the patriarch of the family has other ideas. Would it surprise anyone if LaVar uses his massive fame to publicly question Alford the same way he has the Chino Hills coaches? Gilling was sacked after the season, and LaVar continued to have issues with the new coach Dennis Latimore.

LaVar had already expressed concerns about Chino Hills' new coach, Dennis Latimore, coming only a season after Stephan Gilling stepped up to coach the team, leaving after only one season.
