Google Home Mini briefly listed on Walmart: coming October 19 for $49

Google Home Mini

Two weeks ago Droid Life reported on leaks of almost every major product expected to be announced at tomorrow's event, including the Google Home Mini. Given the success of Pixel past year, the follow-up should be better.

A recent Google Pixel 2 leak has already exposed numerous features which include the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, a new 12-megapixel camera and stereo speakers. Amazon has its own Alexa voice assistant in Echo Dot while Google is expected to rope in its own Assistant in Google Home Mini.

The miniature variant of the Google Home smart speaker, dubbed the Google Home Mini, oozed out last month.

With Google Assistant being a key feature of the Android smartphones, especially the upcoming Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL as well as the current Pixel series, it makes sense for Google to expand this. This smaller version of Google Home is priced at $49 and has all the features that the standard Home features.

Walmart just leaked a new Google device a day before its official unveiling. It doesn't seem any other Pixelbook details were leaked through the reseller. The specs of the Chromebook Pixel listed on Synnex's page are the same as other leaks we've seen already, so there's credibility there. But tomorrow's event bolsters Google's commitment to hardware and smartphones following the company's purchase of HTC's talent for more than $1 billion dollars. The pricing is $20 higher than its previous version but reports state that it has internal upgrades to enhance the VR experience. 91mobiles will be present at the launch event on October 4th, so stay tuned for live updates.

Stay tuned with us to know everything that takes place at the event tomorrow!
