Jennifer Lawrence thinks her boyfriend Darren Aronofsky is "brilliant"

Jennifer Lawrence Says She Is Becoming Less Interested In Motherhood The Older She Gets

Hollywood darling Jennifer Lawrence revealed in an interview with Today that after a non-stop workload for the past decade, she's going to take a chill and distance herself from acting for awhile. She even joked about taking up pottery.

There's one thing we know Lawrence won't be doing during her break - and that's starting a family. "I don't have anything set for two years", the Oscar victor, 27, revealed. "I actually think it would, if you get dinner afterward", Lawrence said.

Where Aronofsky's previous movies allowed him to be the writer-director on the outside looking in at junkies, an aging athlete and a dancer on the verge of a meltdown, "mother!" has him looking inward, as he targets artists and their addiction to fame.

For the morning show appearance, Jennifer kept her look classic in an oversized cream sweater layered over a black dress.

The actress is most celebrated for her Oscar-winning performance in Silver Linings Playbook, in which she played widower Tiffany Maxwell, a performance which won her Best Actress.

Fans of "The Shining" will think they have "Mother!" sussed when Bardem turns out to be blocked and when Lawrence's wary but radiant heroine begins to sense a beating heart underneath the house's sturdy bones.

Jennifer Lawrence stars in the film as the sweet and sensitive wife to Javier Bardem's poet.

It's a film that defies easy description or interpretation, and should prove one of the year's most divisive cinema experiences, which is probably why somewhat bold star Jennifer Lawrence agreed to get involved, even though she reputedly thought that Aronofsky had serious psychological problems at first (before they started dating). "I was angry and resentful because I thought that I deserved the right to do what I love and to do my job, and then still have privacy".

Mother! is about a couple getting odd, uninvited guests at their peaceful home.

The actress explained her struggle to accept being so much in the public eye, whether on the red carpet or on a causal coffee run. "Mother!" opens in theaters September 15.
