Yu Yureka 2 with premium design launched in India


After the successful entry of Yureka Black, Yu Mobiles, a subsidiary of Micromax Informatics, today has yet again announced a new smartphone that will be an addition to the iconic Yureka series. Besides these, the Yureka 2 comes with 3,930mAH battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support. It also has fingerprint scanner located on the rear panel. Speaking of cameras, the YU Yureka 2 houses a 16MP rear shoot that comes equipped with dual tone LED flash. The phone also has 4GB RAM and 64 GB of storage.

Of late, the online exclusive sub-brand has launched a few new smartphones and the YU Yureka 2 appears to be latest of the lot. YU now sells YU Yunique 2, YU Yureka Black and YU Yunicorn in the country at Rs 5,999, Rs 8,999 and Rs 10,999 respectively. Powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor, Yureka Black features 32GB internal storage.

The metal body Yureka 2 features a 5.5-inch FHD display with 2.5D curved glass. For the front, there is an 8-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calling. In terms of connectivity, the device offers dual SIM card slot with 4G LTE and VoLte capability.

YU Yureka 2 runs on Android 6 Marshmallow, it will be updated to Android 7 Nougat soon.

The Yu Yureka 2 will be available from September 20 and be one of the highlighted devices of Flipkart's Big Billion Day Sale that will last till September 24, so do look out for some exciting offers to go with the phone as well.
