Cops continue hunt for Honeypreet

On Saturday, a skin bank running inside Dera Sacha Sauda headquarters without license was sealed.

The third day search operation inside Dera Sacha Sauda premesis located in Sirsa has been completed. During the search of the Dera campus, there is also an illegal factory and chemicals for making firecrackers.

Two key functionaries of Dera Sacha Sauda were also arrested on Friday for allegedly inciting violence in Panchkula.

Officials of the Uttar Pradesh police also said on Sunday that Honeypreet's photographs were pasted at police stations bordering Nepal and the law and order machinery was on an alert to ensure she does not sneak into the neighbouring country. Mobile internet services including 2G, 3G, 4G, CDMA, GPRS, SMS services and dongle services of all mobile networks have been suspended.

The sanitisation process, which was initiated on the orders of Punjab and Haryana High Court concluded at 6:30 pm. "There are 131 companies of para-military forces deployed in Haryana", the DGP said. Duty magistrates were appointed for various zones of the Dera.

Curfew remains in force on the road leading inside the dera headquarters.

The Dera headquarters, spread over almost 800 acres, was divided into ten zones for the objective of sanitisation and searches, with each zone under the control of a senior officer.

Reports also reveal, the ashram has got full-fledged facilities, including luxurious resorts, global school, shopping mall, movie theatre, stadium, hospitals, etc. 38 people were killed and around 250 injured in the violence. The Gufa itself is spread over in an area of almost 100 acres.

One of the tunnels was linked from the "gufa" (cave), a huge pink coloured building that was the ultra-luxury home of the rape-convicted sect chief, to the hostel for female disciples (sadhvis). The campus has palatial bungalows of his other family members, none of whom are in the premises since August 25.

Security was tightened around the Dera headquarters near Sirsa town on Wednesday following the approval granted by the Punjab and Haryana High Court to the Haryana government to search and sanitize the premises. The search was done peacefully in the Dera.

#The godman who calls himself Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Insaan had also launched his own currency.

There was large scale violence following the sect heads conviction which left 41 people dead including 35 in Panchkula and six in Sirsa.
