Unlocked Galaxy S8 Active to be released soon by Samsung?

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 with S Pen to be launched online on August 23

From a while, the leaks were coming about the Samsung Galaxy C8 and today in China Samsung has officially introduced it.

According GalaxyClub.nl, Samsung filed for an edge-to-edge display patent with the Korean Intellectual Property Rights Information Service (KIPRIS) back in may 2016.

In fact, one customer who had placed a preorder with Samsung revealed that he may receive the phone as early as September 5, which is around 10 days earlier than the official release date. BGR called it "probably Samsung's best phone of the year", although it also noted the device is in many ways "basically a bigger Galaxy S8 version". The handset also sports an 8-megapixel selfie sensor.

There's no word on when the unlocked Galaxy S8 Active will be made available, though. Tom's Guide said the Note 8's dual rear cameras make it the "top camera phone" on the market, while BGR's Zach Epstein wrote, "The S Pen alone adds so much to the user experience that I can't picture myself using a Samsung phone without it".

The Note 8 is set to compete directly with LG Electronics Inc.'s V30 smartphone, along with the new iPhone set to be showcased by USA giant Apple Inc. later this month.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will have Google Daydream capabilities from the get-go.

Samsung Galaxy C8 is a Dual-SIM smartphone and have a Metallic design which looks as premium as one on the flagship devices. The company will hold an event in New Delhi on 13th September at 12:30PM.
