Honor V9 Play Honor 6 Play launched Price specs and everything else to know

The Huawei Honor 6 Play is an even cheaper device vis-à-vis the V9 Play.

Huawei online brand Honor has launched a new smartphone in the entry level segment. The device can be obtained in either in a 3GB or 4GB RAM variant both of which will sport 32GB of internal memory, which can be expanded through a microSD card up to 128GB. It runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat powered EMUI 5.1, which is Honor's customised user interface.

A 13-megapixel camera is on the posterior aspect of the Honor V9 Play phone along with the f/2.0 aperture, LED flash support, PDAF and 5P lens. With the slim and light casing, Huawei has managed to fit in a 3000mAh battery. It is still unknown when the device will see its launch in India and there has been no word regarding it either. This should translate to around Rs 9,800 and Rs 11,700 respectively. The phone houses a 3020mAh battery.

Design-wise, the smartphone comes with a metal uni-body, featuring fingerprint scanner on the rear panel.

Honor had introduced the Honor V9 Play in China yesterday, and it seems like yet another phone was announced after that, the Honor 6 Play. This device comprises following connectivity options - GPS, 4G LTE network options, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, USB 2.0 and Bluetooth 4.0. On the camera front, you'll find a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera for taking selfies. The smartphone is powered by quad-core MediaTek MT6737T SoC clocked at 1.4GHz paired with 2GB of RAM and runs on of Android 6.0 Marshmallow with EMUI 4.1 on top. It contains the 5-inch HD display and the screen resolution 720×1280 pixels. The phone is offered in gold, rose gold, blue, red and black variants. Its dimensions are 143.8 x 72 x 8.85mm, and it weighs 150g. There is no information on the availability of these phones in other countries.
