The new trailer is from the game engine and it shows a battle between the Rebels and the Empire.

A month after a new trailer went behind the scenes of Star Wars Battlefront 2, we have our first look at the mode which showcases the Millennium Falcon and, of course, plenty of lens flare. Battlefront's space battles felt cramped and tacked on, albeit handsome, but like just about everything in Battlefront II, this iteration of the Starfighter Assault mode seems to be much more in line with what makes Star Wars, Star Wars.

The new trailer, which has leaked a week before the planned reveal at Gamescom 2017, teases the wise and powerful Force user piloting his very own fighter during a space combat. It's better to keep that in mind while looking at the impressive-looking footage.

Battlefront II's space battles are being made by Burnout developer Criterion.

Star Wars Battlefront II releases for Playstation and Xbox on November 17. Unlike the 2015 original, Battlefront II has a campaign, which Motive is developing. Fans can expect more official details regarding the title next week as EA hosts a live demonstration of Starfighter Assault mode during Gamescom. A public beta of the game is scheduled to run from October 4-9. One example is the brief appearance of Kylo Ren's TIE Silencer which we are to see in the next movie, due this holiday season; Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
