Saturday: hit-or-miss storms may still bring locally-heavy rain

Temperatures will remain slightly cooler in the upper 8-s as well. It will be another hot and humid summer day, with high temperatures in the lower 90s. Those chances will back off Wednesday through the end of the week with just pop-up to spotty coverage.

Thursday: Partly sunny. High: Mid 80s. Slow strengthening is forecast while curving away from the USA east coast.

Sunday will be partly sunny with a 40 percent chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms.

Today is a handsome day with mostly sunny skies and warm temperatures.

Meteorologist Sarah Fletcher says the weather pattern will stay unsettled, keeping the chance for showers and storms in the forecast through the middle of the week.

A few isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms will linger by Tuesday. Winds will be very light with high pressure across the area.

Saturday will be cloudy with a few showers to start, but some partial sunshine is expected to develop. Lows will fall into the lower 60s.

After a soaking rain across especially the northern half of North Texas last night and into this morning, a repeat today is unlikely.
