Adding New Game Mode And New Maps

В Overwatch появится новый режим

The new modes - Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch - and map are already available in the Public Test Region (PTR) on Windows PC. Similar to FFA, players earn 1 point for their team whenever they kill an opponent and lose 1 point for their team whenever they die to environmental damage or by their own hand.

In a recent video, Jeff Kaplan explained that the precursor for the new mode was actually Arcade. The Overwatch is a game about teamwork, objectives and get together. Players that will use mercy's resurrection ability will take kills away from the other team's kill count.

Customization options will be available in both Team Deathmatch and FFA.

Anyone who has ever played Overwatch will know that it's an excellent team-based shooter. Deathmatch pits eight players against each other to be the first one to score 20 kills, while Team Deathmatch sees two teams of four compete to rack up 30 kills. If you're down for playing either of these game modes, you will ultimately be able to find them in the Arcade where all other modes are chosen and can win some loot while you're at it. So you'll want to brush up on your accuracy.

Maps that these two modes can be played in include Hanamura, Volskaya Industries, Dorado, Eichenwalde, Hollywood and King's Row.

The new mode will also feature modified versions of existing maps as well as an entirely new one, Polygon reports. It doesn't matter if you're good or bad at the game, it's a lot of fun.

Kaplan also explained some of the maps have been modified to accommodate the two game modes, and a new map was made exclusively for Deathmatch.
