Last night on The Late Show, host Stephen Colbert spoke about the missile crisis in North Korea that everyone's getting anxious about.

Meanwhile, U.S. Defense Secretary James Mattis said in a written statement that North Korea should "cease any consideration of actions that would lead to the end of its regime and destruction of its people".

"In the case of North Korea, God has given Trump authority to take out Kim Jong Un", he said.

Her comments come after the President of the United States promised "fire and fury like the world has never seen before".

"I don't want to be alarmist: We're all going to die", Colbert continued, "because USA intelligence now believes North Korea is making missile-ready nuclear weapons".

Humphrey said that Donald Trump should be relieved of the powers of the Presidency as soon as possible.

There were a few things on Colbert's laundry list that he wanted the North Korean dictator to know, though. We sanctioned Russian Federation just last week and it felt pretty great. they threaten us in a way you never will!

Colbert then played a montage of Trump saying numerous variations of the phrase "the likes of which this world has never seen before". "You'll get us all killed - and I just started The Handmaid's Tale".

"They count on me to be a straight shooter with a calm voice", he said to start his monologue Tuesday. Or is the United States moving closer to all out war? In light of Trump's recent threat to meet continued North Korean nuclear threats with "fury and fire", which Humphrey likened to "pouring gasoline on fire", Humphrey argued that the "system of checks and balances" is not enough. And I just started the "Handmaid's Tale.' You know Kim Jong-un is insane, right?" Chances are, he doesn't want to live in one.
