It's been more than 30 years since sci-fi audiences met Rick Deckard in the dystopian '80s classic Blade Runner, and fans have been speculating about whether Deckard is a replicant nearly as long. Starring Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford, the marketing campaign is now kicking into a higher gear ahead of Comic-Con, and a new trailer has landed.

A brand new trailer for the sci-fi sequel is now live. Watch the new trailer above.

After his big discovery, he manages to track down his predecessor, who had been missing for three decades. Leto's character, Neander Wallace, says in the trailer that "replicants are the future" as he seemingly sends Hoek's character to find the key to their evolution. That can also be said of just about every character with dialogue in this trailer.

"You're a cop. I did your job once", Deckard tells Gosling's Officer K, who replies, "Things were simpler then". It is directed by Denis Villeneuve and based on a screenplay by Hampton Fancher and Michael Green. Ana de Armas, Jared Leto, Mackenzie Davis, Carla Juri, Barkhad Abdi, Edward James Olmos, and Dave Bautista round out the star-studded cast.

Thirty years after the science fiction classic "Blade Runner" hit the screens, fans are getting a taste of the long-awaited sequel, "Blade Runner 2049".
