This change has been requested by many who say it will make the game more "hardcore" by removing the ability to use third-person perspective to get a better angle to see around obstacles and the like.

However, Greene recently revealed that the development team has made a decision to push back the PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds full release to before the end of this year's fourth quarter.

PlayerUnknown himself, Brendan Greene has been careful on how he addresses the dedicated servers, stating on the official Discord that it would be a little while longer before players have access to them.

As IGN reports, the first-person servers won't be included in the default queue.

Let's hope the first person servers have been fairly perfected before going live.

A follow-up tweet reads: "We will bring 1st person only to EU/NA SOLO & DUO games first, and once we have polished the system, we will expand to other regions". Greene said today that hardcore mode will first come to solo and duo play on European Union and NA servers. FOV sliders can be crucial in preventing motion sickness, among other things, and are a fixture in most first person games. Are you up to the challenge?

Some of the tensest moments in PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is when you see an enemy behind a barricade around the corner and they see you back.
