Ohio State honorary captain scores in spring game, mobbed by teammates

Urban Meyer watching Bill Belichick

SEC fans have a less-than-loving relationship with the Ohio State Buckeyes, but this moment from their spring game will warm the hearts of even MI and Alabama fans.

Meyer's full press conference can be seen in the video above.

Nebraska wasn't the only team to touch everyone's hearts on Saturday during spring game action. After a number of jukes and missed tackles, he scored a touchdown. Jarvis evaded Buckeyes defenders, taking a handoff to the house as Ohio Stadium roared.

Teenager Jacob Jarvis is an Ohio State superfan with Duchenne muscular dystrophy - an incurable genetic disorder that causes muscle degeneration.

To say spring games don't matter isn't accurate. After the Buckeyes' national championship in January 2015, Jarvis got to go on the field to hoist the CFP National Championship trophy.

Even better, according to coach Urban Meyer, it was his own players who approached him with the idea of giving Jarvis his magical moment.
