Verizon's Galaxy Note 5 & S6 Edge

Sources have discovered that the latest version of the updates to the Samsung Health and Samsung Game Tuner apps have turned up at the Android software rehosting website ApkMirror.

Each week, we round up all the major software updates to hit the Android ecosystem, including phones and tablets on USA carriers, unlocked phones, smartwatches, and Android TV devices.

Did you get the Android 7.0 Nougat on your handset?

To check your Note 5 or S6 edge+ for updates, go into Settings About phone Software update Check for updates. As of this time, none of the devices in Samsung's huge catalog is running Android 7.1 just yet - this discovery could mean that the Korean phone maker is hard at work at testing a new build for the newest Nougat. Sprint has also released the Android 7.0 Nougat OS update for the Sprint HTC One M9. The operating system update has run into issues, but the fallout does seem to be limited to those who are contracted to USA wireless carrier Verizon. The carrier has already updated the official pages for the two phones, confirming that the update is indeed rolling out. Once you receive notification that the update has arrived, before you actually install it, make sure that you are connected to a Wi-Fi network.

Galaxy Note 5: Not only are you finally getting Android Nougat, but Samsung is throwing in a few, additional software features. Screenshots detail a jump to Android 7.0 and the February security patch. According to Verizon, the newest Air command lets you create GIFs and get instant translations with the S Pen.

After applying the respective updates, Sprint's Galaxy S6 will be on build G920PVPU4DQC7, while the S6 edge will have G925PVPU4DQC7. Even, AT&T has rolled the update to the Note 5.
