Bayonetta PC Announced With 4K Support, Is Available Now

Bayonetta 3

Bayonetta was originally released way back in 2009 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in Japan, with it arriving a little later in the U.S. and Europe in January 2010. The special edition includes an OST sampler, digital art book and wallpapers.

There's also keyboard and mouse control, if you're some sort of blaspheming heathen when it comes to controlling action games on the PC.

The PC port of Bayonetta is now available to purchase via Steam for $19.99. If Bayonetta on PC is a success though, might that encourage Platinum to make another?

There has been much speculation since April Fool's Day when Platinum teased its fans with a free 8-bit version of Bayonetta. The port features a wealth of graphics options including support for 4K resolution, 60fps refresh rates, anti-aliasing and more.

Thrust straight into battle, with only one clue to her past, Bayonetta must discover the truth and fight for the future.

You can see Bayonetta running on PC with advanced graphical options enabled in the video above.

Bayonetta gameplay will run at 60 FPS (cut scenes at 30 FPS).

I hope you have a controller, because PlatinumGames' stylish-action classic is ready to dance! "There's more to come!" Designed by Hideki Kamiya, of Devil May Cry and Resident Evil 2 fame, Bayonetta remains one of the top-rated action games ever developed.

But this is the first time the original Bayonetta has ever been available for PC.

Players can also choose and instantly toggle between Bayonetta's English or Japanese voice cast.
