Cadiz Lion's Club community Easter Egg Hunt set for April 8

Hop on over to one of these upcoming Easter events or egg hunts in the North State. The event includes an adult and grandparent's hunt, so everyone can enjoy the fun.

Its three stores sell "thousands" of Easter goodies every year.

The Cadiz Lions Club Annual Community Easter Egg Hunt will be 1 p.m. Saturday, April 8th in West Cadiz Park. Admission is $6 per child.

The Abilene Zoo is offering four opportunities for kiddos to have breakfast with the Easter Bunny. Bring your Easter baskets or a sack because there will be plenty of eggs to collect. Details: 510-981-5150.

Easter Egg Hunt 2017 - 1-3 p.m. Saturday, April 1, Thomas Park.

After the hunt, the youngsters will proceed to the Fairborn YMCA gymnasium where each child will be given a prize while some will redeem special prize certificates. Details: 510-559-7000.

An Easter egg hunt will be held at the Kokomo-Howard County Public Library Main Branch, located at 220 N. Union St.in Kokomo, from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, April 7.

Several Abilene churches have scheduled Easter egg hunts. Don't forget to bring your basket. Registration is at 11:30 a.m.

And this year, they will also have an Easter celebration.

Rachel Townsend of Hillsboro has filed a lawsuit against both the venue where the egg hunt took place and the event planning company that hosted the egg hunt. Rain date is Saturday, April 15, at 10 a.m. The egg hunt is first come, first served and starts at 10 a.m. sharp. Each day will offer face painting, baby chicks and bunnies, an Easter treat, and each attendee will be able to take home a seed that they planted.
