We will have to be wary of my old team Leicester City

One of my old teams in Leicester City come to the London Stadium on Saturday and it will be a tough game as they are confident, have won two on the trot and they also superbly won their Champions League last 16 match on Tuesday night.

But they scored three goals in the first half.

Later on, an unmarked Robert Huth headed in Marc Albrighton's deft chipped pass following an excellent set-piece move. Kaspar Schmeichel stood rooted to a spot as Manuel Lanzini's free kick earned West Ham its first goal in the 20th minute.

He pounced on lax defending from Albrighton's corner kick to strike high past Randolph.

In the 63rd minute, Andy Carroll found space at the back post and nodded the ball back into the danger area.

West Ham are all over the place defensively! Their heroes of last season, Riyad Mahrez and Jamie Vardy, look much happier now that the Englishman is in charge and although it may not be easy to admit, the Leicester board were 100 per cent correct with the decision to sack Claudio Ranieri.

Lanzini put a smile straight back on West Ham faces, however, with a perfectly placed free-kick a minute later to make it 2-1. The first goal was a cross, very sloppy from our point of view.

But it did rock West Ham and the visitors capitalised ruthlessly.

It is not the first time the Croatian is going through this procedure, he had his other hip replaced five years ago showing that his playing career is really taking its toll on his body, as he now needs his other one doing, according to the Sun.

It resulted in England striker Vardy scoring only his second away league goal of the campaign.

"A lot of negatives from the first half, but a lot of positives from the second half".

LEICESTER travel to West Ham riding the crest of a wave having beaten Sevilla in midweek to reach the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

Ultimately, though, Shakespeare's side showed enough grit in the absence of injured captain Wes Morgan at the back to double their points won on the road this season.

West Ham are 11th in the Premier League table at the moment with 33 points from 28 matches.

The Hammers, like Leicester, have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last seven league matches - only Bournemouth (nine games) are on a longer run.
