'Twin Peaks' Day Brings Some Damn Fine New Posters From Showtime

Showtime, who will be airing the show's much-anticipated "25 years later" third season in just three months, joined the celebratory activities today by dropping two new promotional posters for the show's revival. The posters both show off the same forest background but one has Cooper's face faded in while the other has Laura Palmer's.

Twin Peaks is set to premiere on Showtime on May 21st. Don't know what Twin Peaks Day is? "TWIN PEAKS" is written and produced by series creators and executive producers David Lynch and Mark Frost and is directed entirely by David Lynch. The closest he got to discussing the plot was by admitting that the show's sequel movie, Fire Walk With Me is "very much important for this".

It is happening again indeed, as Twin Peaks returns as an 18-episode limited series on Showtime, beginning with a two-part premiere on May 21 at 9 p.m.

The event takes place March 16 and 17 at the Showtime House at Clive Bar in Austin. Whether it will be damn fine pie and coffee remains to be seen but it will be free pie and coffee.

In addition to the pop-up shop, the event will include a Twin Peaks-inspired donut from the Austin outpost of the popular Voodoo Doughnuts, cocktails, coffee and pie.

Daily schedules for The Showtime House performances are below.
