'Doctor Strange' Star Benedict Cumberbatch Is Nervous as 'F-' in 'SNL' Promo

Benedict Wong revealed he feels "blessed" to star in the new "Doctor Strange" movie.

In terms of movies, Marvel seems to have gotten their formula down pat because just like nearly every other Marvel released before it in recent years, Doctor Strange is off to a great start by opening with $86 million over the weekend where the movie has been launched in multiple countries around the world.

At the very least, we're getting the beginning of a new Marvel franchise that brings us into a completely different realm of the Marvel cinematic universe. The actor, however, is tiding over eager fans with his canine counterpart.

Wong has admitted that similar to the film title, lots of odd things have happened to him in his lifetime - including playing a character with the same name as his surname. Especially since the visuals have been touted as being the best Marvel has produced so far.

Cumberbatch stars as Stephen Strange, an arrogant surgeon who draws on powers of mysticism and spirituality when his glamorous life is taken away after damaging his hands in a auto accident. He quickly learns that this is not just a center for healing but also the front line of a battle against unseen dark forces bent on destroying our reality. With few more days until its release in the United States, director Scott Derrickson already knows who he wants to play as the villain for the Doctor Strange 2.

The film co-stars recent Oscar nominees Chiwetel Ejiofor and Rachel McAdams, as well as Tilda Swinton (who won an Oscar for "Michael Clayton") as the Ancient One.

The US, itself, has yet to bear witness to the entirety of Doctor Strange, which only hits US theaters on November 4, so we have yet to pull up official blockbuster numbers.
