Warriors trade Bogut to Mavericks, clearing cap space for Kevin Durant

In his four seasons with the Warriors, Bogut averaged 6.3 points, 8.3 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.7 blocks per game.

Former Golden State Warriors Andrew Bogut and Harrison Barnes landed with the Dallas Mavericks.

Oklahoma City Thunders Kevin Durant tries to shoot over Golden State Warriors Andrew Bogut in the first quarter during Game 5 of the NBA Western Conference Finals at Oracle Arena on Thursday, May 26, 2016 in Oakland, Calif.

Barnes has agreed to a four-year, $125.99 million contract with the Mavericks. Andrew Bogut, one of the premier "I hate him unless he's on my team and then I love him" players in all the Association will be coming in a trade very similar to the acquisition of Zaza Pachulia at the end of free agency past year.

Sure, Pachulia isn't as big of a signing as Durant by any stretch of the imagination, but he does give the Warriors a solid player at a position of extreme need.

Dallas Mavericks will be equipped with a 13-man roster that also includes Wesley Matthews, Devin Harris, J.J. Barea, Justin Anderson, Salah Mejri, Dwight Powell, Deron Williams, A.J. Hammons, JaVale McGee and Jeremy Evans. Yahoo Sports was the first to report the agreement. Harrison Barnes is that athletic SF with hard nose defense that's been missing ever since Shawn Marion departed and has the offensive game of a former player we are most familiar with JHO (Josh Howard) whose a one time all star.

Jennings to Knicks - A person with knowledge of the details says that Brandon Jennings has agreed to a deal with the New York Knicks.

Heat: Dwyane Wade has an offer to consider. The 38-year-old, who opted out of the final year of a three-year deal, is getting ready for his 19th season in Dallas.

The second year would be at Wade's option. Jennings went two picks later to Milwaukee, and he hurt the Knicks with a series of strong performances when he played against them. He also put a scare into 76ers fans when he left the game in the fourth quarter due to cramps in both calves.
